Terms of service
Plain English, because a document nobody can read is not consent. Eight sections, none of them long.
Who may use OOHLA
Adults only, 18 or over, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher. Age is estimated at sign-up through a third-party provider.
What an account is
An OOHLA is a private world shared by exactly two people. One of you creates it and sends a single invite. There is no way to add a third person and there never will be.
What you may not do
- Use it with anyone under 18, or invite anyone you cannot confirm is an adult.
- Use it to coerce, pressure, threaten or monitor another person.
- Record, capture or redistribute content from the service.
- Attempt to reach any account other than your own.
What we may do
We may end an account that is being used for any of the above, without notice, and we may refuse service. We will not read your content in order to decide this; we act on reports.
Payment
One subscription covers both accounts. It renews until cancelled. Cancelling takes two taps inside the app and stops the next charge. Refunds are covered on the refund page.
Ending it
Either person can end the world at any time. This deletes both sides. It is immediate and it is not recoverable.
Liability
OOHLA is a product for two consenting adults. It is not therapy, not medical advice, and not a safety service. Nothing in the app should be relied on in an emergency.
Changes
If these terms change materially you will be told inside the app before the change takes effect, not by a silent edit to this page.
Questions about any of this go to hello@oohla.live and a person answers them.
